Indian singer-songwriter Suchitra Lata is trained in South Indian classical music. She has also grown up listening to every possible genre of music from Broadway to Bollywood, from a very young age. She twirls Western and Indian pop, jazz and folk to form a mosaic which is uniquely her brand of music and carries it to completion with her wistful voice.
With several feature films in Kannada and a couple of full length animation films in Hindi to her credit as composer, Suchitra is currently working on her 3rd studio album. She collaborates extensively with musicians from all over the world and has won several awards for her unique work. She has worked with English theatre, TV films, radio jingles and corporate signature tunes.
