Liturgyofwar
Liturgy of War is a music project born in spring 2010. After his first two solo albums (Passage to Dawn in 2008 and Tales From the Abyss in 2009), Claudio Minotti, a guitarist from Italy, decided to form a real band. Not finding anyone in the local area, he had the idea of recording an album with musicians from all around the world so he could finally find the right bandmembers. He then started to audition a lot of different musicians and found Cosmin Aionita (a singer from Romania), Kike Paglia (an Argentinian drummer, already playing for Odoghan and Medium) and a Canadian keyboardist, William Sweetling. Soon they started working together and after months of recordings, they finished and released their self-titled album "Liturgy of War", an album that features high energy songs combined with catchy and melodic hooks in the realm of classic heavy metal.
In early 2011 the band decided to record the next album with a more melodic approach and they started to look for a singer that would better fit the new musical direction.
They found what they were looking for in Ramone Talarico, a solo singer from USA. With the new singer writing most of the lyrics and mixing his influences in the songwriting, Ramone proved to be the right choice for the new record.Their latest music effort, "Vault of Heaven", features 11 tracks combining rock, metal, pop and other music influences in one organic melodic style, this album was released in early 2012.
