Anarcord plays electronic music. The sound is like a mix of Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Faithless, Underworld and a bit more.
Anarcord is an electronic project born as evolution of old band Xilema, active in Italy since 1990. We published as Xilema an EP for Rock Planet Production, a CD for Sony Music (produced by Franz Di Cioccio (PFM)), 3 videoclips in heavy rotation on Italion national TV (RAI / Mediaset / AllMusic / MTV / RockTV) and more than 200 gigs in Europe.
In 2006 we published as Anarcord the first CD “Handle with care Devil inside” for BcF productions, recorded in Milan at Corrosive studio by MasterMaz and mastered in London by Nick Terry (The libertines, Babyshamble) at the Premises Studio. In 2007 we appear on a tribute album to Garbo with the cover “Troppe Cose”, and in 2008 we recorded with Styloo (’80s pop star) a new version of 80s hit single “Pretty Face”. In 2010 we published for BcF productions “Riviera”, recorded in Milan at Corrosive studio by MasterMaz and mastered in London at Metropolis by Andy Baldwin (Coldplay, Robbie Williams, Richard Ashcroft, Roni Size, Super Furry Animals).
Since 2010 we are promoting our new show, a mix of electronic music and modern dance/performances played by the band and some dancers, making shows in the most important clubs in Italy, Great Britain and Switzerland.
